We know surfing has its image of happy-go-lucky nonchalance. However, teaching is our livelihood and we reserve our time, hand-wash wetsuits, and organize surfboards specifically for each lesson.
Thank you for honoring our terms and cancelation policies:

Lessons need to be confirmed at least one day in advance with a major credit card, certified check or cash. There is always the possibility, due to unforeseeable weather and ocean conditions, that lessons may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. SURFLUCA reserves the right to cancel lessons in the event of surf and weather conditions which might pose a danger to clients. In such cases, a full refund will apply. We will only cancel and/or reschedule lessons if conditions are deemed unsuitable for surf lessons, including big/rough surf, strong winds, thunder and lightning, rip currents, and flat surf. Rain is not a problem for lessons and if SURFLUCA has deemed surf and weather conditions appropriate for learning on a given day, the lesson remains as scheduled and is good to go!

We do our best to accommodate last-minute and same-day bookings, but during the peak summer season (June through September) and all weekends, it is best to reserve your lesson at least one week in advance. Payment is due before lesson commences. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before participating in a lesson or activity with SURFLUCA. Any damages and damage costs to lesson and rental equipment (including surfboards and wetsuits) beyond reasonable wear and tear during their use by a participant will be covered by the participant or their guardian.

Scheduled lessons can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to 48 hours before scheduled start time of lesson.

Cancellations 48 hours or less from the reserved lesson start time will be charged at half the rate of the lesson.

Cancellations 24 hours or less from the reserved lesson start time will be charged at full rate of the lesson.

Thank you for your understanding, and for honoring these terms.
